Richard was my old line manager and he was unique in many ways and once you met him you would definitely not forget him! 

Lots of funny memories from over the years, not only work related but also memories of Christmas parties and a couple of beer festivals (especially the joy when he discovered a cheese stall amongst the beer tables and went cheerfully wandering off into the night with a bag bursting with various cheeses). The halloween costumes were always a welcome distraction...although the horses head was actually quite frightening!

A message I thought I would share that I sent to to Richard when I left CBRE.

For the record you were always a great boss, very knowledgeable, fair, funny, loyal and generally a very kind hearted person. I learned a lot from you over the years and the encouragement with the Prince2 course I feel helped me over the line and to get the passes. You always looked after the team and we knew you had our backs if need be, which is something you cannot put a price on.
